Sea Angling is another very popular pastime in and around the Beadnell Bay area. Whether you fish from the rocks or from a boat you will find the usual excellent facilities in our village.

Kieth Grimes is almost a local! Living in Newcastle, but with a holiday caravan in Beadnell Links Caravan Park, he has been fishing from Beadnell for almost 25 years.

" My parents have always had a caravan at Beadnell and I have had my own now for 5 years. I have been fishing from the bay since I was a boy. The launching facilities from the car park are superb and once you get about 3 miles offshore the cod fishing is second to none. It's never crowded on the beach and it's just a beautiful location. This part of the coastline has got to be one of the country's best kept secrets"
