Bamburgh CastleMany thanks to Phil Russell for this contribution to our website.

Phil is one of our well known local artists. Featured on the left is a watercolour of Bamburgh Castle (one of the local castles on the Northumbrian coast) titled: 'Bamburgh from the North'. You can view more of his work by visiting his website at: www.philrussell.org

There are currently 25 local untutored leisure painter members working in all mediums, meeting weekly at the W.I. Hall in Beadnell from 10 - noon on Thursdays and/or at Seahouses First School in North Sunderland on a Monday evening from 7 - 9pm.

The Group is affiliated to the S.A.A. (Society for all Artists) which publicises events nationally and internationally encouraging, informing and inspiring a love of art in a practical way through its quarterly magazine. Visitors to the area are welcome to attend for a small fee, while on holiday or visiting the area. New members are most welcome, just turn up!

Exhibitions, outings, talks and demonstrations take place in accordance with members requirements.

Fees - £2 fee per session
