On Sunday 14th May, St Ebba’s Church, Beadnell was host to a unique musical event when The Hermitage Choir from St Petersberg performed a selection of Russian Sacred and delightful Folk Music This supremely talented quartet of musicians - Dmitry Taneer, Ioor Voznyy, Vladimir Matygubin and Pavel Kravechenko, attracted a capacity congregation and rightly recieved a standing ovation at the end of their performance. Our heartfelt thanks go not only to the choir themselves, but also to the compere Natalia and Dr Mike Spark who together organised the visit and of course to the Rev Jane Wood for hosting it.
