Before I complete and circulate the comments collected yesterday, please will you publicise the questions on the Beadnell website and circulate this message, electronically, to anyone in the parish who might not have been able to attend?
The headings were;
- What are the things you like about Beadnell and why?
- What are the things you don't like about Beadnell and why?
- What changes would you like to see?
- Who should be responsible for making these changes?
- What new businesses/services would you like?
- and, following demand, comments about the Play Park.
I haven't counted up yet but there were about 100 people who attended the day. 21 signed up to take the plan further.
Many of these are 'young' people of the village. Anyone else who wants to roll up their sleeves and get involved is welcome to the initial meeting 2pm Saturday 2 September, Beadnell WI
